On Santa Fe Stream you will be able to attend a film festival thousands of miles away from your home; you can listen to debates and participate in conversations held by people across the globe; you will be able to visit artists’ studios and learn about the creation of their works…

Santa Fe, why?

It was the name of a historical cinema in Buenos Aires, a city that in the 30s boasted having the most movie theaters in the world. The memory of a girl consuming films like the ice cream she would buy at the cart on the sidewalk in front of the cinema.

The most populated city in Argentina and its imaginarium come back to life twenty years after the closing of the Santa Fe cinema in an evolved and futuristic way. A virtualground born from a childhood memory that assumes mystic and postmodern vibes, both technological and romantic, located in a precise space but shares its name with ten other cities around the globe.

In 2021, the platform www.santafestream.com already showcased the first edition of MAX3MIN - Very Short Film Festival, a film festival of short films no longer than three minutes that totaled 2700 directors from 97 countries in the world. The second edition is already in the works for 2022.

In the same virtualground 3SHOTS - The Triptych Photography Festival was born, a tryptic photography festival. Thought as a M3M spinoff, with the goal to search, anywhere in the world, for photographers who know how to tell a story, three intertwined stories, three iconic moments, three meaningful attributes related to an object as to an emotion; to a time or a moment; an ideal or a dream. A past, a present or future. Our challenge is to capture the universe in three shots.

Now Santa Fe Stream is opening up to new projects, offering the chance to other festivals and events to enrich their programmes and platforms and make use of its services. Because Santa Fe Stream is a container, a screening room, a basement, a loft, a gallery, a catwalk, a garage, a cupboard, a virtual box and a regal lounge.
