Director's notes
I created this Animated Short Film over 4 months for a Visual
Storytelling Assessment in AFTRS Bachelor of Film Year 2.
I loved working on this project and learned a lot of new Animating techniques. I was very inspired by the way Hayao Miyazaki creates his films. Miyazaki doesn't go into a film with any clear plot points or story structure in mind and basically freestyles the film, discovering everything on the go from the flow state. I used this method in creating "Le grand".
