Elisa Bonora

producer and editor

Elisa Bonora is an Emmy and ACE nominated producer and film editor with a long list of credits in both documentaries and advertising. Originally from Milan, she moved to Los Angeles, to collaborate exclusively for the DGA multiple winner commercial director, Joe Pytka. Elisa collaborated and edited films with Oliver Stone, Cameron Crowe, James Keach, Tony Kaye, Jerry Sherr and Cecilia Peck. Among her most notable credits are the ACE and Oscar nominated film Glen Campbell - I’ll be me which won the Nashville Film Festival in 2014, as well as the Sundance, Grammy, numerous film festival nominated film David Crosby, remember my name, the critically acclaimed Emmy Award nominated documentaries No subtitles necessary, Laszlo and Vilmos, Brave Miss World and Ghost Fleet. Her work also includes the feature length documentary films Black fish, Ashes and snow, Requiem for a running back, Rising from ashes, The ivory game, The turning point, Bending the arc, Augie, Franca, chaos and creation. Elisa won the Best of 1991 Advertising Age Award, the Advertising Women Achievement award for Consumer Television in 1996 and 1998, a Golden and Bronze Lion at the 1997 Cannes advertising festival and the 2017 Boston Film festival for best editing. Currently Elisa is producing the documentary film The horn maker with Juliette Marquis and editing the documentary Still working 9 to 5 with Jane Fonda, Dolly Parton and Lily Tomlin.

Powerpaola

Plastics artist. Cartoonist and fine artist.

Born in Quito, she grew up between Cali and Medellin. She’s lived in Paris, Sydney, San Salvador, Bogota and Buenos Aires. Thanks to the Gilberto Alzate Avedaño scholarship, Powerpaola founded a two month drawing workshop in the Amazon. She has showcased her travel diaries and paintings in New York, Sao Paolo, Sydney, Milan, Buenos Aires, Santiago de Chile and Paris, amongst others. Powerpaola is also the author of the graphic novel Virus Tropical and the art director of the animated feature adapted from the book.

Enrico Gabrielli

composer, multi-instrumentalist and music producer

EG studied clarinet and composition at the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory of Milan. He played lots of contemporary music and premieres by several young composers (Botter, Casale, Carcano, Torres, Belcastro, Marino and many more) with Ensemble Risognanze, European Music Project Ulm, Sonata Islands and the TIMET metacomposing research laboratory. Between 1999 and 2002 his music was premiere in the Arena di Verona, Milano Classica, Fontana Mix in Bologna, Weoclav Filmarmony Orchestra. In 2002 he left academic music and enjoyed playing in several Italian bands of alternative rock and underground culture (Afterhours, Mariposa, Calibro35, The Winstons). In particular, Calibro 35 is a crime-funk band that played several international festivals and radio shows (SXSW in Austin, KCWR in Los Angeles, Nublu Jazz Fest San Paolo, Nublu Jaz Fest Istanbul, opening for the Muse The Resistance tour, Holy Groove Fest Lausanne, The Craig Charles funk and soul show in Manchester, Cinema Nova in Bruxelles…). EG is one of the most in demand orchestral and ensemble arrangers in Italy and he has most notably collaborated with Mike Patton (Faith No More), Muse, PJ Harvey, Aldous Harding, Damo Suzuki (Can), John Parish, Daniel Johnston, Steve Wynn, Daevid Allen, Vinicio Capossela, Daniele Silvestri, Morgan, Baustelle, Nada, Mario Brunello. EG has released about 250 studio albums in 16 years. With record label 19’40’’ (www.19m40s.com) and the ensemble Esecutori di Metallo su Carta he makes contemporary music in non-orthodox and extreme locations like installations and rock venue. He plays saxophones, clarinets, flutes, percussions and keyboards.

Martina Pastori

filmmaker and director

Martina is a director and filmmaker from Milan. She has been working in video making since 2009, often managing the different stages of production: from writing to production, from shooting to editing. In the last years, she has specialized in directing music videos, collaborating with major labels and artists like Fabri Fibra, Ghali, Capo Plaza, Rkomi, in shooting fashion films with different brands and magazines (Gucci, Dsquared, Max Mara) and in directing commercials, working with agencies like Mc Saatchi & Saatchi e Leo Burnett.
