Director's notes
While we were looking for our story in the Albanian and Serbian mountains we brought with us a single idea, the relation between places and people.

It all started with a confrontation between cultures, ideas and traditions. Obviously, nothing went as we expected: the story actually comes along with people, so people and places showed us the reality we had to tell.

Time was crucial for the success of the project. Spending as much time as possible with the locals allowed us to enter their everyday life without being too invasive and to use the camera as a mean of expression and not as a limiting and embarassing object.
