Biography
Pepi Eirew is an Experimental Animation student at CalArts, as a Lillian Disney Scholar. Her work explores the human experience, strange beings and surreal landscapes. She is based in Vancouver, Canada. More of her illustrations and animations can be seen at @pepiandthecreatures.

Animation director, Pepi Eirew wanted to approach puberty from a different angle - one of positivity and longing. It has personal resonance as she was a matchstick while her friends were voluptuous ! The color palette moves away from natural tones to show it all in a new light. Dedicated to late bloomers everywhere !
