In a train carriage, Jeanne reads. A fellow passenger, despite her wishes, tries to engage her in conversation. Gradually, the other men in the compartment join in the unwanted exchange, complimenting and oppressing her. Trapped, Jeanne must find a way to rid herself of her aggressors. She grabs an empty bottle... Will she finally find peace?

Pian piano, altri uomini presenti nello scompartimento si uniscono alla conversazione non desiderata, facendole complimenti e opprimendola. Biography
Born in 2000, in France, Chloe Danguy is an animation film director. After studying at EMCA (Angouleme, France), she graduated from La Poudriere (a French animation school in Valence) in 2024, where she directed her graduation film, "Sous l'Ecorce," which was selected for the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival. She enjoys exploring themes of rebellion, drawing inspiration from her surroundings.

Director's notes
This film is part of the first season of 'First Page,' a collection of eleven short films created by young animators recently graduated from French animation schools. This collection celebrates Francophone literature by offering an animated interpretation of the first page of a book of their choice.
The collection also features several animation techniques such as traditional or digital 2D animation, 3D, stop motion etc. “First Page” is produced by the cooperative company Scalaé Productions in association with France Télévisions.
