I rent a very small room in Berlin (which reminds me of a coffin) and have very strange dreams there. People are held in suspense without knowing when will it all be over. The club is closed, the ambulance won’t come and everything that’s left to do is just walking around the city with your inner monsters.
Polina was born in 2000 in Kharkiv, and moved to Berlin in 2019, after studying at Kyiv I. K. Karpenko-Kary University. She is currently enrolled in her Bachelor of Animation at Filmuniversität Babelsberg Konrad Wolf. Apart from Filmmaking, her practice spreads over a wide variety of disciplines, with a strong emphasis on social work and alternative education. In her art, Polina reflects on the topics of decolonization and the dynamics in society, by combining them with magic realism.

The film expresses a personal sense of self-reflection in the times of pandemic. There are three languages spoken in the film, Ukrainian, English, and German. Each situation demonstrates different associative layers and experiences that are characteristic of a particular social background, but also pass through the director's artistic vision.
